"WE THE NORTH" TORONTO RAPTORS People went crazy over the Toronto Raptors making it to the playoffs!  There are cars, restaurants, signs everywhere.  Some people asked us if we wanted to come over to see the game!  Let's say they are a bit excited over here.   Lisa came to church! We were excited when we heard.  We were in Ward Council and we told our Bishop!!  We sat and waited and waited, the meeting began.  The young men closed the doors and then we heard the door open and saw Lisa briefly!  We did not want to be rude, but we needed to get out to her.  She left because she didn't know if she could join us once the meeting began.  We bolted out Librarians at Work and ran down the hall and someone told us that she went out to the parking lot.  We caught her in her car and explained that she was welcome to join us and it was ok to come in the room.  I couldn't hold back how excited I was! She smiled from ear to ear in the meeting.  She had to l

Transfer news was today..... Sister Farnsworth and I are both staying in Burlington! We received a member referral this week and we met with Lisa (from the Jewelry Story) this week!  We did a Bible stand a few days ago and Mennonites thanked us for sharing the Gospel but when they came close and saw we were from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints they started backing up and making excuses to leave, hah.  We taught Lisa the Plan of Salvation and gave her a tour of the church. Her only wish is to have children of her own and she is willing to do anything. While we were in the chapel she asked if she could pray. She sat alone and we were in the back reading through the Hymns. I could feel the Spirit strong in the chapel. She wasn't able to come to church this week because of work but we promised her that if she puts God first everything will work out. Sophie Our MIRACLE!! Today we were out shopping and decided we would go by a jewelry store. We were looking at the rings and one of the employees pulled one out and let us look. She asked what church we were from and we told her. She said she has been praying for a church to go to for Peace after having many miss carriages. She is now 38 and the doctor said she doesn't have to much of a chance in having a baby. She had a dream last night that prepared her to meet us! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT. She was so glad to see us and said she wants a tour of the church and to meet with us Friday @10am and hopefully she can come Sunday too! MIRACLE We came out of the Apartment and we saw 3 people coming towards us. We went over and introduced ourselves and started to talk with them about Family History.  A lady named Saberina made her way over and said she wanted to talk to us. She said that she met missionaries a long time ago and invited us over this week?! She also said she'd bake us cookies hah Sister Farnsworth and I walked away, and I kept saying WHAT JUST HAPPENED. We bought detergent put it in our trunk. We drove to the laundrymat and I opened it up.  It fell and the lid broke! There was still a good amount in there then we put our laundry in the washers and hah Sister Farnsworth starts pouring the detergent in the lid and forgot I broke it. It was pouring out freely, she didn't even realize there was no hole but noticed it wasn't filling hahh I put my hand under it and then she hurried and moved it over to where the liquid goes hah it was all over the floor so funny!
