Week #1 - 1st Week at the MTC!!




I've learned so much from the MTC its unreal! My companion Sister Miller is so sweet and reminds me a lot of Aunt Diane and Hannah Udy. With the very sweet Personality, Diligent and well balanced in her life. Its crazy how well everyone lines up with their companion so well! THERES NO WAY ITS A COINCEDENCE. 



We've had our second day teaching our teacher as an investigator and I cant even began to explain how perfect it was! Sister Miller and I came out of the room hugged each other and thanked our Heavenly Father for how amazing he is. Our first lesson we challenged him to pray and then came back and challenged him to read the book of mormon. The best part is that when one of us didn't know what to say next the other would finish it off. The spirit was so strong. It felt as though the spirit was sitting right next to me telling me what to say, how to say it, and what to say next. I had a scripture on Faith came to me and I went to it and shared with him that even though it was almost unreal to think that Joseph Smith a being like us could see God and Jesus Christ. I shared with him that we have to put a little trust in, Sister Miller worded it earlier in the day as pushing aside things and place that seed in your heart. So I shared that and then said, each day if we water our seed our doubts won't over power how strong our Faith. It was so so great!



 I love the feeling at the MTC. How safe it is, and especially how CLEAN IT IS. Everyone is so respectful and works hard. But holy I didn't think it was possible to over pray. Never in my life have I prayed so many times in one day but now that i've experienced what its like theres no way I could stop.

A little more about Efe's baptism 2 weeks ago - Efe Omamohwo was Baptized and Confirmed September 28th and 29th. Owen gave a talk on Baptism and Claire gave one on the Holy Ghost and then Claire and Serena sang 'I'm trying to be like Jesus' together. The last sang that we all sang was families can be together forever.  Efe bore his testimony the Sunday he was confirmed about how he received a blessing to quit drinking coffee and he said after the blessing he had no desire to drink coffee.  Something that was amazing to see was that Efe and Juliet put their wedding rings back on.  They both are working together better than they ever have and look so much happier than they did when I first met them.  Efe will be receiving the Priesthood soon. They are working toward getting sealed in the TEMPLE!! We were walking down the road reactivating and contacting and we saw this women and her husband walking their dog. Week #25 - Christ's Atonement is the Reason to be Happy!

Yesterday was actually Thanksgiving in Canada!! (another Monday holiday!) I had 3 Thanksgiving dinners.. hahah.   One on Sunday and two on Monday.   I felt like I looked pregnant, but it was so good:)  I feel like I don't know anything:) It’s a good thing that God does. I feel like a child relearning everything.   Obedience brings Faith, Faith is the only way to understand the Atonement.   I am trying to understand it better.   I’ve been talking with my mission President to better understand the Atonement.   He gave me scriptures and talked about it at zone conference.   Sister Nicole Lowder - Love..Love..Love! He shared with the missionaries the following:   "It is difficult to add anything to conference, but I remembered a quote from Pres. Week #81 - Love You Burlington!!

October 27th - Serena did her very last primary program and will be going to Young Women's this January! We knocked on a door and Kirna a mother visiting from India answered the door. We said we were sharing a message about Jesus Christ. She said "Jesus Christ?" "Come in" as we talked to her she said that she was praying for her husband in India that he would have water and she said God blessed him with it. She was so grateful we came and fed us food she was making for her family. October 30th - Tonight we went late night tracting and had many pass along cards and were going to hand them all out before 9pm. We handed every single one out but still had 5 min. I reached into my bag not looking and pulled put a card! We went to the closest home with lights on.
