Week #7 - I'm in Brampton Area covering a YSA Stake!

I'm in Missisgua, Brampton area and cover the YSA stake. We contact on streets and bus stops and meet a lot of people. A few nights ago we were on the elevator of our apartment with a man he started talking to us and we got off at the same time and were on our way to our room and him and his friend stopped us. They acted like they were interested in talking with us but we knew they had wrong intentions. That's the first time on my mission I've felt the Holy Ghost strongly tell me to leave. We turned for our room and they told us to come to there room for some coffee or wine. We told them we have to head back. 

We were at the park studying and there was a man that was on the bench in front of us he had a box of beer and 3 packs of cigarettes and would down one beer and then smoke and then grab another. When we were studying I had a feeling to talk to him so I told Sister Nish that we need to talk to him and she was confused so I got up and walked over and he's like "Utah girls" we smiled and sat next to him and talked he was kinda out of it but I know he has a soft spot because everyone does so we got deeper and he told us how hes 60 and doesn't need  religion because it's to late. And then he jumped into talking about how he had pot in his car and how he thought it was funny hahah we went to get up for an appointment we had and so I shook his hand and immediately I heard "God loves him and misses him" so as I was shaking his hand I told him and he's like I know he does so I knelt down by him and looked into his eyes and said God told me to tell you He loves you. Never forget it. And his eyes got all watery and half smiled. I got up to leave and felt my heart grow 3X bigger. I felt so much love for him and as we were walking away I told him I loved him hahah it literally just came out but right then I knew how much love God has for each one of us. No matter what race, religion, or creed might be we are all brothers and sisters of our heavenly father.<3

Love Love Love you All! Never forget that God's always there. ALWAYS:) We have trials to grow, to be better:) He's preparing us for Great Things!! God doesn't tell you what to do or how to do it because He trusts you. He knows your strengths He prepares your way, He places everyone in front of you for a reason. God made you, He knows you:) and He loves you perfectly. Rely on the Atonement, hold on to the Savior because without Him Joy is impossible. He takes the pain and suffering, and replaces it with peace and comfort:) DILIGENTLY READ AND PRAY EVERYDAY and that WILL build your Light. Listen close for the peaceful voice. Satan will be loud and try to block it out. Remember fear, anger, doubt, depression are NOT of God when you hear or feel this way that's Satan. God is PEACE he is the same yesterday, today, and forever<3 HE LIVES  AND LOVES YOU! I KNOW this is true! with all my heart never ever forget it!!

A little more about Efe's baptism 2 weeks ago - Efe Omamohwo was Baptized and Confirmed September 28th and 29th. Owen gave a talk on Baptism and Claire gave one on the Holy Ghost and then Claire and Serena sang 'I'm trying to be like Jesus' together. The last sang that we all sang was families can be together forever.  Efe bore his testimony the Sunday he was confirmed about how he received a blessing to quit drinking coffee and he said after the blessing he had no desire to drink coffee.  Something that was amazing to see was that Efe and Juliet put their wedding rings back on.  They both are working together better than they ever have and look so much happier than they did when I first met them.  Efe will be receiving the Priesthood soon. They are working toward getting sealed in the TEMPLE!! We were walking down the road reactivating and contacting and we saw this women and her husband walking their dog. Week #25 - Christ's Atonement is the Reason to be Happy!

Yesterday was actually Thanksgiving in Canada!! (another Monday holiday!) I had 3 Thanksgiving dinners.. hahah.   One on Sunday and two on Monday.   I felt like I looked pregnant, but it was so good:)  I feel like I don't know anything:) It’s a good thing that God does. I feel like a child relearning everything.   Obedience brings Faith, Faith is the only way to understand the Atonement.   I am trying to understand it better.   I’ve been talking with my mission President to better understand the Atonement.   He gave me scriptures and talked about it at zone conference.   Sister Nicole Lowder - Love..Love..Love! Week #81 - Love You Burlington!!

October 27th - Serena did her very last primary program and will be going to Young Women's this January! We knocked on a door and Kirna a mother visiting from India answered the door. We said we were sharing a message about Jesus Christ. She said "Jesus Christ?" "Come in" as we talked to her she said that she was praying for her husband in India that he would have water and she said God blessed him with it. She was so grateful we came and fed us food she was making for her family. October 30th - Tonight we went late night tracting and had many pass along cards and were going to hand them all out before 9pm. We handed every single one out but still had 5 min. I reached into my bag not looking and pulled put a card! We went to the closest home with lights on.
