Week #13 - Make Your Own Heaven!



 
Thats so awesome that cj had people to talk to from Mozambique!!!! Cj is going to be such a good missionary:) I can't wait until Cj goes out and experiences the Joys of being a missionary and see how much he changes. Its unreal how much I've seen myself change in only 3 months.
I love you lots!! thank you for your messages it really helps charge me up!!

As we were driving home from Lakeshore it came to my head that everyone lives in this world and that we may have chosen how we can make it better. Even though all of us are on the same earth we ourselves can choose to make it better. So why not wake up everyday and smile?? Heavens going to be what you make of it. So why not choose right now to make it great:) 

While we were at Lakeshore we were heading back to our car and 2 Christian women approached us and had cards they were handing out so we took one and gave them one of ours.:) They were so sweet and asked about our religion and how it is different and what and why we believed. We shared with them about how we are also Christians and hold the same beliefs but that we know that with the Book of Mormon we can understand the Savior and his gospel even better!  The Bible is like the left eye and the Book of Mormon is the like right and together it gives you the full view and understanding of Jesus Christ. The power of the Book of Mormon is unreal. I know it is true. Not only does it share the most important doctrine of our Savior and tells us in specific ways how we can come to live with God again, but there's something so special you feel every time you open the book and read! The book tells you the things you need to hear, at the time you need them. I promise this is true. I will never ever deny the power of it. 

Don't give up and don't give in. We are surrounded with harmful things. Its no longer somewhere else that we have to search for it or avoid it, but it is right here infront of us. Its how we control ourselves and make ourselves stronger to with stand the temptation while it is at our feet calling our name. Always remember that we have the power to withstand satan. That we have angels on this earth now helping us, but we have to call for them. I know God is real. I know He lives. By the touch of His hand He can do anything. 

Jacob 4:10 "Seek not to counsel the Lord, but to take counsel from His hand." I am beyond Grateful for my Savior I love him so much. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and was chosen to come down and fulfill that mission. We all have a mission on this earth, we have the power to choose our destiny. Matthew 22:14 "Many are called, but few are chosen." We are called here at this time for a reason. Don't loose faith, and don't settle. God has more for us then we can even comprehend. Fight the battle and stand strong to what you know to be true.

Yesterday was actually Thanksgiving in Canada!! (another Monday holiday!) I had 3 Thanksgiving dinners.. hahah.   One on Sunday and two on Monday.   I felt like I looked pregnant, but it was so good:)  I feel like I don't know anything:) It’s a good thing that God does. Week #77 - Red Doors and Pink Flowers

A little more about Efe's baptism 2 weeks ago - Efe Omamohwo was Baptized and Confirmed September 28th and 29th. Owen gave a talk on Baptism and Claire gave one on the Holy Ghost and then Claire and Serena sang 'I'm trying to be like Jesus' together. The last sang that we all sang was families can be together forever.  Efe bore his testimony the Sunday he was confirmed about how he received a blessing to quit drinking coffee and he said after the blessing he had no desire to drink coffee.  Something that was amazing to see was that Efe and Juliet put their wedding rings back on.  They both are working together better than they ever have and look so much happier than they did when I first met them.  Efe will be receiving the Priesthood soon. They are working toward getting sealed in the TEMPLE!! We were walking down the road reactivating and contacting and we saw this women and her husband walking their dog. Week #81 - Love You Burlington!!

October 27th - Serena did her very last primary program and will be going to Young Women's this January! We knocked on a door and Kirna a mother visiting from India answered the door. We said we were sharing a message about Jesus Christ. She said "Jesus Christ?" "Come in" as we talked to her she said that she was praying for her husband in India that he would have water and she said God blessed him with it. She was so grateful we came and fed us food she was making for her family. October 30th - Tonight we went late night tracting and had many pass along cards and were going to hand them all out before 9pm. We handed every single one out but still had 5 min. I reached into my bag not looking and pulled put a card! We went to the closest home with lights on. We knocked and then a man in the basement opened the door and jumped back he didn't realize we were there. We shared the Book of Mormon and testified of Hope. He said he
