Week #19 - Hard Week!



We sure missed Madison yesterday for CJ's Farewell.  Thanks for all your support for both Madison & CJ.  This is one of those hard letters to read, but we know she is being watched over.  Please keep both of them in your prayers.

 I'm not doing to well. I've been really sick these last few days and haven't been able to keep anything in my stomach. I'm so drained and feel so weak.

The last 2 weeks I've been praying for Patience and Diligence and got the best of it and just recently have been praying to lose myself. God is testing me in every area you could image. All I can do is sit down and cry and get up and keep going. Yesterday, God brought me so much peace. I was asked to give a talk on the Holy Ghost and everyday this week when I'd go to prepare there was always something that got in the way.  Then on Sunday I got up and talked for 20 minutes. Everything I said came straight from the spirit. I don't remember anything I said. 

We had multiple people come to church and a baptismal commitment.  Not sure how to keep up with it.  I hope to feel better soon. I feel like the big thing i'm being tested on is trust. if you have any talks or quotes that can help please send it to me.  Thanks.

A little more about Efe's baptism 2 weeks ago - Efe Omamohwo was Baptized and Confirmed September 28th and 29th. Owen gave a talk on Baptism and Claire gave one on the Holy Ghost and then Claire and Serena sang 'I'm trying to be like Jesus' together. The last sang that we all sang was families can be together forever.  Efe bore his testimony the Sunday he was confirmed about how he received a blessing to quit drinking coffee and he said after the blessing he had no desire to drink coffee.  Something that was amazing to see was that Efe and Juliet put their wedding rings back on.  They both are working together better than they ever have and look so much happier than they did when I first met them.  Efe will be receiving the Priesthood soon. They are working toward getting sealed in the TEMPLE!! We were walking down the road reactivating and contacting and we saw this women and her husband walking their dog. Week #25 - Christ's Atonement is the Reason to be Happy!

Yesterday was actually Thanksgiving in Canada!! (another Monday holiday!) I had 3 Thanksgiving dinners.. hahah.   One on Sunday and two on Monday.   I felt like I looked pregnant, but it was so good:)  I feel like I don't know anything:) It’s a good thing that God does. I feel like a child relearning everything.   Obedience brings Faith, Faith is the only way to understand the Atonement.   I am trying to understand it better.   I’ve been talking with my mission President to better understand the Atonement.   He gave me scriptures and talked about it at zone conference.   Sister Nicole Lowder - Love..Love..Love! He shared with the missionaries the following:   "It is difficult to add anything to conference, but I remembered a quote from Pres. Week #81 - Love You Burlington!!

October 27th - Serena did her very last primary program and will be going to Young Women's this January! We knocked on a door and Kirna a mother visiting from India answered the door. We said we were sharing a message about Jesus Christ. She said "Jesus Christ?" "Come in" as we talked to her she said that she was praying for her husband in India that he would have water and she said God blessed him with it. She was so grateful we came and fed us food she was making for her family. October 30th - Tonight we went late night tracting and had many pass along cards and were going to hand them all out before 9pm. We handed every single one out but still had 5 min. I reached into my bag not looking and pulled put a card! We went to the closest home with lights on. We knocked and then a man in the basement opened the door and jumped back he didn't realize we were there. We shared the Book of Mormon and testified of Hope. He said he...
