Week #38 - Clay In His Hands



This week has been so great! 
I Love you DAD!!

We were contacting and met a man named Jeremy a few weeks ago.  He came to church with us yesterday and wants to work towards being baptized!

Courtney came to church as well and we both went up together to bear our testimonies of the love we have for our Savior and our plan on earth. 

We visited Shirley last night and she was wearing a bright yellow shirt with an orange button up which totally matched her personality! I started singing you are my sunshine and she tagged along hahh 
Sister Clark won't let me say prayers at her home anymore because EVERY TIME I PRAY she will either yell "Praise the Lord" "yes Lord" or "Amen".  So last time, I tried to say a prayer without so much love and motivation and I almost whispered it so she wouldn't hear what I was saying -but hahh!  All the sudden I hear this whisper "Yes, Lord Yes..." hahahh.  Every single time she says it I try so hard to hold back but I can't. No matter how hard I try, I start laughing in the prayer. 

 We went tracting over by our home and met a man named Ken, he told us we made a mistake (we interrupted the football game) but 5 min in he was telling us about his football life and now being a coach. He wasn't interested but for a big tough guy like he was he nicely told me when we were leaving that he would cheer for the Seahawks!

A little more about Efe's baptism 2 weeks ago - Efe Omamohwo was Baptized and Confirmed September 28th and 29th. Owen gave a talk on Baptism and Claire gave one on the Holy Ghost and then Claire and Serena sang 'I'm trying to be like Jesus' together. The last sang that we all sang was families can be together forever.  Efe bore his testimony the Sunday he was confirmed about how he received a blessing to quit drinking coffee and he said after the blessing he had no desire to drink coffee.  Something that was amazing to see was that Efe and Juliet put their wedding rings back on.  They both are working together better than they ever have and look so much happier than they did when I first met them.  Efe will be receiving the Priesthood soon. They are working toward getting sealed in the TEMPLE!! We were walking down the road reactivating and contacting and we saw this women and her husband walking their dog. Week #25 - Christ's Atonement is the Reason to be Happy!

Yesterday was actually Thanksgiving in Canada!! (another Monday holiday!) I had 3 Thanksgiving dinners.. hahah.   One on Sunday and two on Monday.   I felt like I looked pregnant, but it was so good:)  I feel like I don't know anything:) It’s a good thing that God does. I feel like a child relearning everything.   Obedience brings Faith, Faith is the only way to understand the Atonement.   I am trying to understand it better.   I’ve been talking with my mission President to better understand the Atonement.   He gave me scriptures and talked about it at zone conference.   Sister Nicole Lowder - Love..Love..Love! He shared with the missionaries the following:   "It is difficult to add anything to conference, but I remembered a quote from Pres. Week #81 - Love You Burlington!!

October 27th - Serena did her very last primary program and will be going to Young Women's this January! We knocked on a door and Kirna a mother visiting from India answered the door. We said we were sharing a message about Jesus Christ. She said "Jesus Christ?" "Come in" as we talked to her she said that she was praying for her husband in India that he would have water and she said God blessed him with it. She was so grateful we came and fed us food she was making for her family. October 30th - Tonight we went late night tracting and had many pass along cards and were going to hand them all out before 9pm. We handed every single one out but still had 5 min. I reached into my bag not looking and pulled put a card! We went to the closest home with lights on. We knocked and then a man in the basement opened the door and jumped back he didn't realize we were there. We shared the Book of Mormon and testified of Hope. He said he
