Week #43 - Positive = Success
This week there was Frezzzing rain! Anything it hits it freezes! The snow looks porcelain from the rain on top! Sister Tebbs and I Ice Skated on it yesterday, hah.

Yesterday, (Sunday) Stephan came to church. MY HEART WAS SO HAPPY!
Sister Sin wrote my name! |
We've done lots and lots of tracting. We met someone named Gudrun and John guess where they are from? GERMANY they were so kind and let us in to talk. Nothing came from it, but we planted a seed. We also went tracting to a home and didn't realize it was an active member in the US A branch. We knocked, he opened the door and said, "Hello, come on in! Can you imagine how we felt?? HE WAS SO EXCITED AND WE WERE SO HAPPY! Then said he was a member. Bah.
We dropped by Juliannas home (someone we previously tracted). We were able to share the Restoration and the Spirit felt nice. She is a strong Christian believer and has joined many different churches. She had many questions, but learned that it's only by Faith that we can do or understand anything.
I've been reading Jesus the Christ and it is soo hard to understand. My goal is to finish it twice before I go home. Also, something that has made my scripture study more insightful is reading it along side of the Book of Mormon institute manual, there are talks, quotes, and references to scriptures.
"Finding success on your mission (in life) comes from yourself, choosing to be Positive."
Something that has come to my mind consistently is, "Success is a piece of mind of self Satisfaction, knowing that you did your best, to become the best, that you are capable of becoming." -John Wooden
I learned that from my DAD! I just imagine him saying it to the many kids he has coached in football and basketball.
I don't remember the full quote but that part is all I need to remember that all decisions on whether I want to be happy comes from me.
Hope you all have a good week!
Sister Rees
