Rositas China Tuesday, March 19,2019  - Visited Sister Payne and she repeated Proverbs 3:5-6 over 15 times in one visit. Unfortunately she has dementia but I'm pretty sure that was God telling me to trust Him. Because 2 days before we were eating breakfast and Sister Kelly played a talk.  It mentioned Trust in the Lord, then the next talk,  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart lean not unto thine own understanding.  Sister insane, Sister Kelly, and I made corn bread and had it  with Apple Cider/Hot Chocolate Friday, March 22,2019 - We were at a dinner appointment with The Ulloas children and right after we finished the lesson I felt prompted to ask what their favorite scriptures are. Brother Ulloa blurts out "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not into thine own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths." I just sat there smiling.  It felt like a bus just hit Sister Kelly & I for us to remember a

GOOD NEWS!  Mark that dropped us is wanting to meet with us again! We asked him why and he said he misses that good feeling whenever we were around, and the love that we showed him. He feels that there is something special to this message. He has a baptismal date for April 27th!! and we have been praying with him at night and sending scripture texts in the morning. The other day he was on the bus and we called him and asked if he would like to pray and he did! Nothing makes me happier:)) We are running low on K's and so we have been walking to each appointment and it has been the funnest ever! Some how every time we would walk out the door it would snow, but on the way the Sun would come out...hahh we were surprised, but the snow is beautiful!  We also were held hostage at an older members home THEY WOULD NOT LET US LEAVE HAHH we finally got out at 8:15pm and as we walked home we played piano music from Yiruma and watched the stars.  It was well worth It! (We had a

Week #47 - Have Faith, Have Hope, Live like His Son, Help Others on their Way.

Good News and a Tough Week!  A Missionaries Life!   I received a message from Pamela from the Windsor Ward.  She said her husband is getting baptized March 30th! I also received another message from Lionel, someone we were teaching in Kingston, that said he will be getting baptized April 3rd!! I am so excited to hear they still progressed after I left the area.  They are such wonderful people.   These last few weeks have been so hard. I honestly feel like I'm relearning the basics of knowledge and how to be a missionary.  It is so humbling to be the one that teaches a new missionary how to find and teach people to Come Unto Christ. Especially when we have been rejected so much since she arrived!  We went tracting yesterday in the rain and everyone opened the door a crack and shut it before we could share anything. To make it even better, on the way to the next home someone banged on the window and we looked up and they started mocking us, " Go on a mission they said,

Week #46 - Prayer of Faith

Wow!  I am training and have a new companion!  Her name is Sister Kelly.  She's from Rexburg, Idaho.  She is wonderful and a great cookie maker!  I think we are going to be a good team!  The work is good, but  discouraging at times.  We find so many people and then they just don't want to put in the effort to progress.   I am trying to hold them up with work, faith, and being as obedient as possible.  Our focus is on teaching and helping them keep their commitments to get on the path!   On Tuesday we were on our way from an appointment and drove by a women out shoveling in the snow, we weren't dressed for shoveling but were prompted to help. We had English Class that started at 7pm (in 10 min) but we decided to help. We asked if she needed help and she said yes,  "How much do I owe you?" That's something I've heard a lot in Canada. They will always ask how much we will charge before they accept the help. She didn't have enough shovels so we went
