Week #60 - Offering Genuine Love Hurts and Causes Pain, but it Also Brings JOY!

Sad news, We haven't been able to contact Lisa, We're guessing its because someone has scared her and given her Anti information.  We went to her work and found out she was transferring somewhere else (she doesn't want us to know where she works). Probably the saddest I've been over some one we've taught.

We've stayed in contact with Jessica though! We are going to see her tonight and bringing her fresh Mary's recipe chocolate chip cookies. We have been doing lots of cookie drop offs(no one rejects the offer) except we ran out of brown sugar and granulated sugar and used our last option, powdered sugar that actually tasted really good. They tasted like sweet biscuits.

Sister Kirk asked if we could share the lessons with her son Theo who is 7 years old to prepare him for baptism. He is the cutest and as I was writing something down he sat right next to me and snuggled up by me and said "you are a good teacher" and smiled at me. SO CUTE.

We had our last interview on Wednesday with President and Sister Shields! I can't believe they are going home! They shared good advice about school, and our future spouse. I asked President Shields what his motto was and he said Repentance. He lives and breaths it. We have it said to us all the time that "This is Repentance University."
