Week #62 - Going from a Loaf of Bread to a Crouton

This week

Megan came to church with her boyfriend again. She asked that we meet with her this weekend. We are excited to visit with her!

God is pouring the Miracles right in my lap. I was on Exchanges Friday- Saturday and we went to do drop-byes and update our area book. We made our way to Carlos home and knocked on the door only to find out he has moved over 7 years ago. We asked the man at the door if he was interested, he was content in his beliefs so we asked if there was anyone in the neighborhood that was interested. He pointed to house #17 and said they would be. 

Usually when we ask for referrals in the neighborhood they send us either to the most anti home, or their best friend. We walked over looking at each other and totally thinking it was another set up. We knocked on the door and saw a picture of the first supper on the side of the entrance. We mentioned the picture and introduced ourselves. She let us in and we taught her and her daughter the Restoration. When we share the first vision she was touched by the spirit and shared a special experience she had. She mentioned that she wanted us to come back.

When we were on exchanges we also were heading out of our apartment and a man approached us. He mentioned he is a singer, and a pianist. As we were talking he mid sentence started serenading us hah. He left us with his card.

A little more about Efe's baptism 2 weeks ago - Efe Omamohwo was Baptized and Confirmed September 28th and 29th. Owen gave a talk on Baptism and Claire gave one on the Holy Ghost and then Claire and Serena sang 'I'm trying to be like Jesus' together. The last sang that we all sang was families can be together forever.  Efe bore his testimony the Sunday he was confirmed about how he received a blessing to quit drinking coffee and he said after the blessing he had no desire to drink coffee.  Something that was amazing to see was that Efe and Juliet put their wedding rings back on.  They both are working together better than they ever have and look so much happier than they did when I first met them.  Efe will be receiving the Priesthood soon. Week #25 - Christ's Atonement is the Reason to be Happy!

Yesterday was actually Thanksgiving in Canada!! (another Monday holiday!) I had 3 Thanksgiving dinners.. hahah.   One on Sunday and two on Monday.   I felt like I looked pregnant, but it was so good:)  I feel like I don't know anything:) It’s a good thing that God does. I feel like a child relearning everything.   Obedience brings Faith, Faith is the only way to understand the Atonement.   I am trying to understand it better.   I’ve been talking with my mission President to better understand the Atonement.   He gave me scriptures and talked about it at zone conference.   Sister Nicole Lowder - Love..Love..Love! He shared with the missionaries the following:   "It is difficult to add anything to conference, but I remembered a quote from Pres. Week #81 - Love You Burlington!!

October 27th - Serena did her very last primary program and will be going to Young Women's this January! We knocked on a door and Kirna a mother visiting from India answered the door. We said we were sharing a message about Jesus Christ. She said "Jesus Christ?" "Come in" as we talked to her she said that she was praying for her husband in India that he would have water and she said God blessed him with it. She was so grateful we came and fed us food she was making for her family. October 30th - Tonight we went late night tracting and had many pass along cards and were going to hand them all out before 9pm. We handed every single one out but still had 5 min. I reached into my bag not looking and pulled put a card! We went to the closest home with lights on. We knocked and then a man in the basement opened the door and jumped back he didn't realize we were there. We shared the Book of Mormon and testified of Hope. He said he
