Week #9 - GOD IS AMAZING!!

i'll start this off with a little story of what happened this week. So back up a little to last week we met with one of of our investigators that was smoking dope right before we showed up and looked dead it was way bad he was definitely not their when we were talking to him. We had a feeling to stay though so we stood outside his home and tried to talk to him but he wouldn't talk he was so in shock and kept pointing to the sky and then pointing at his heart and falling down. We didn't know what to do because he was completely out of it and wouldn't speak but thought we could hear his thoughts. Now fast forward to this week Sister Smith and I went over to visit him and I asked him what he does during the day because I wasn't sure if he was messing around with inviting the adversary or something because he acted as if he was possessed. Come to find out he said he was consistently smoking one after the other and was trying to take all the pain and sadness away and he knelt down and just cried and asked God if he was there and he got really emotional and said I have never felt so much love in my life he said that was the most powerful feeling hes ever had. We started sharing with him that he can always have that feeling with the Holy Ghost and he looked at us in shock and asked how can we even bare to feel that all the time because it is so powerful. So that was a good changing point for him to realize there is someone there that really loves him. 

Finding people and meeting people is my absolute favorite!!! Its so great to testify to them of what happened and what will happen and that there is someone out there that knows them personally its so sweet when they recognize something they've heard before. They'll light up and become more engaged or say that makes sense. Sister Smith and I decided we will do anything and everything we are assigned to do. We are giving God everything because literally without Him nothing happens whither you'er on a mission or at home I promise right now if you don't involve God in everything you do your going no where and its a lot harder to do it yourself then to do it with Him. We have seen miracle after miracle when we do all God asks and pray as hard as we can every second we have a chance. and acting on everything He asks of us. 

I know we have a Heavenly Father 110% that is directing our lives and how we find out is reading the Scriptures literally the answers are in there!!! of where to go and what to do next. The reason why its so hard to open them up and read them is because Satan knows that the Book of Mormon is the KEY to God. All the of the answers to life are in there!! Always remember that the Spirit wants what the natural man does not. So if you know its a good DO IT! Gods amazing. Hes the greatest and how blessed are we to have a brother that loves us so much He died for us? He felt our sins and pains. We go through trials to taste a little bit of what our Savior, our brother Jesus Christ did for us. To help us understand the slightest bit of what He did for each of us and how he will always always love us. To those who don't appreciate what He did, who spit on Him, who call him names and hurt him HE LOVES THEM and he still this day is directing them to come back to Him. I love my Savior Jesus Christ more then anything and I know He lives this day. Never Ever forget Him!
